Alpha Matica is seeking talented Agentic Engineers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in software engineering with practical experience in Agentic developments and implementations

These contractual associate roles offer a competitive daily rate determined by the level of experience and skills the candidate possesses.

• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoAct

• Identify use cases for GenAI and ML within the organization.

• Collect and process data to be used as input into Generative models.

• Work with vector databases and vector embeddings.

• Deploy, serve, and monitor Machine Learning and Generative AI models.

• Implement Agentic procedure and process.

• Build web applications and user interfaces to allow users to interact with models.

• Research existing solutions in the market.

• Develop guidance and standards for deploying AI applications.

• Coach and upskill colleagues in Generative AI and software engineering.

• Experience of building and deploying end-to-end web applications using cloud technologies

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, data engineering, machine learning engineering, or a similar role.

• Proficient in Python.

• Knowledge of AI and Machine Learning, with a focus on Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).

• Knowledge of how to integrate data into pre-trained Generative AI models using techniques such as Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and fine-tuning, using libraries such as Langchain, LlamaIndex and Hugging Face, and cloud-based tools such as AWS Bedrock or Google Vertex AI or Azure AI Platform.

• Knowledge and experience of Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques such as text embeddings and an understanding of how different data representations can affect model performance.

• Experience working with vector databases, e.g. Pinecone.

• Knowledge of modern software engineering best practices e.g. test-driven development, CI/CD, containerisation, kubernetes

• Knowledge of MLOps / LLMOps, including model deployment, serving, and monitoring.

• Experience working in an Agile environment.
